PicsArt_1525957399524.jpgAn Anti-government riot broke through the city.

Echoing and filtering through the smoky windswept landscape to the forest giants.

Then mayday, Mayhem broke everywhere.

Dark clouds hung low and smokes rose up to unite with it.

Men, Women and Children, started to run about in the streets
Men of the force, fully armed with guns and tear-gasses
Noises, smokes and dusts filled the air.

Men with placard chased down by Mastiffs and beaten to pulp by the police baton.

IMG_20180510_140015.JPGBurning building and cars and shattered glasses made up the bulk of the accumulated ruins everywhere.

Bodies riddled by bullet lay awaste the main street.

Looking about, I saw a flash

It was a woman that had set herself on fire making a dash
Forgetting to stop, drop and roll on the ground

She kept on running and burning
Her agonizing scream, then she finally dropped dead, roasted

I shove a little girl upon my shoulders, her beautiful face blackened by smokes and eyes weeping from the effect of some tear-gasses that's got into it

I ran down the road and I kept running

My heart fell apart to witness all this destruction in Africa
