Roger Federer is out of the 2019 US Open as he loses in five sets to Grigor Dimitrov in the quarterfinals. Federer briefly left the match to get his back checked out, before losing the final set 6-1.
Surprisingly Federer never play Nadal in the US Open.
I think the door is closing on Roger to be his best and play competitive match.
I do not think he is done with tennis.
He needs good treatment and stay fit.
The problem he is getting older and the new guys are getting fitter and faster.
Roger has to find a way to keep playing.
Hard time requires hard measure.
Maybe he needs to play only the major and stay healthy for one more run, I guess.
Grigor just hangs in there,
he is waiting for his moment.
I don't know how he will play Nadal but it will be
one match to see if he can knock out two top players.
Tennis is pretty interesting to see a unseeded player with the gut to upset anyone.
Just feel the racket and be competitive and try to win all points possible.
