We are entering the phase where 8 more wins will give us this season
Championship. Congrats to Clippers and Suns for reaching this milestone.
Every year or other year just the elite get the best at this time. I remember the Warriors
do reach that milestone quite a few time in the past 7 years.
I am getting the impression a new era is about to start in the NBA.
Today's game will be about PG13 and casts vs Booker and supporting casts as well.
Due to the Mann effect, I can see Clippers should carry this one easily. Despite the fact
they lose all opening games this post-season.
CP3 and Kawhi absence will change how the game will play. Clippers found a way
to win without KL. I am not so sure for Phoenix without CP3.
There is one advantage for Phoenix. They are at home providing the crowd
will support their home team. Booker will be very busy this afternoon. During regular season
Clippers won the series 2-1. This edge may not work much in playoffs but it is there to balance things out.
Suns should be feeling really good after sweeping Denver. So far they won seven games to reach
the Western Finals.
I have to give Clippers that credit. Every time they fall into a hole they manage
to come back strong with little scratch. It will be an interesting series to see
the level of preparation of each team going down the aisle.
PG13 or Booker need help to get something out of this series.
