No Kawhi no problem for Clippers to clip on Phoenix last night. I am sorry for Phoenix if they think
they are going to win another game. CP3 back for me has no real threat against the Suns. We can call it
a bad night for the Suns. That was a sub par game knowing how punchy they can be. Booker is still recovering
from the hit on the face with a mask.
Now we can say it loud for PG13. He is playing like a Super Star, making sure his team does not fall 0-3 for the Finals.
There is still hope for the Suns if they can grab game four Saturday. Defensively Clippers found a way to make Booker
persona non grata. What bothers me the most is the intensity for Clippers to score in the paint. They settle for some 3's but
everyone manage to punish any Suns and most likely Ayton by scoring at will.
It has become a mental game for both teams. Clippers knows they are at home. They feel like they have to win. Suns play like
we are up 2-0 if we lose one, it is okay we can rebound back. Mamba mentality, you win two games you go and finish the job.
Half time Suns has the opportunity to play harder to push it back all the way to the last minute.
Even the Suns coach can feel the team has given up.
I am surprised Suns did not clamp down PG13 the same way Clippers did it for Booker. I know Jackson or Mann can pick up the slack but great defense can change the momentum. Even Beverly was scoring 3's while giving a great effort on defense. I just wonder what adjustments Monty will set for next game.
CP3 and Booker had a bad scoring night 10-40 FG. It is a night worth remember for the Suns. Again no Kahwi, Clippers found a way
to win. Crowder was not involved all the way. Sometimes we called that an off night for the Suns.
I was hoping to see Payne back giving more time in the game. CP3 should not play that much and only score 15 points.
Saturday is around the corner.
We will see.
