A few weeks ago, I wrote a post on why crypto was part and parcel of my retirement plan. The main reason for this belief is that there is an increasing rate of adoption of crypto by the business community. Crypto, I believe will be the currency of the future and this means that the potential for capital appreciation is tremendous. I intend to increase the percentage of my investment allocated to cryptocurrency.

Bitcoin of course is the most well-known crypto. But when it comes to community building and a sense of belonging, Hive beats Bitcoin hands down. Friendship and comradeship cannot be found in other crypto communities. Through Hive I am able to connect with people from all over the world and at the same time invest in crypto.

I have to admit that my holding of Hive is still rather modest.

My Hive Power currently stands at 4737HP

This is not the first time I have powered up and will definitely not be the last time. It is such a coincidence that I joined this challenge on 1 April which is April's Fool Day. In fact, I am making a wise decision to invest in Hive.

Recently I transferred slightly more than 1,000 Hive from Brittex which I intend to power up. A few days ago, I have already powered up 100 Hive. For April Power Up Day, I power up another 900 Hive.

After powering up, my Hiver Power now stands at 5638.

I am now retired and I hope to be able to earn passive income from curating articles here. My plan is to be build up my Hive Power so that I can earn USD250 (1000 ringgit) curation reward every month.
