I got to stay at a friends beautiful home outside of Seattle area. It was so cold and frosty! I had not seen these friends in over a year. We stayed up until 3am the second night chatting and sipping sangria throughout the night. I was a little hungover the next day!
But we got the much needed deep conversations throughout the long night of camaraderie.
I really like old homes. So much character. I was told the house was built by the chief of the logging crew in early 1900's.
The house is right next to this amazing revine with cedar trees and old growth duglas firs. It was interesting to see old burnt stumps that must have been 300+ year old trees that had experienced a fire once upon a time.
I also learned the wisdom of Lola, relax and lay in the sunnyside of life!
Every morning I woke up to billows of fog rolled back by some warming sunshine. It was so quiet here I got much needed rest!
I like having friends of all different lifestyles!
