Everyone is their own first person! Nobody experiences life quite like you do.
I had a blast connecting with relatives this past week. It amazes me how many people I watch post on Facebook over the holidays "I can't stand my parents they are so prejudice." I get so frustrated with so many statements like that from so many people. Is that not the essence of prejudice?
This past week was so much personal growth to me because I got to step out of myself and catch up on so many other peoples lives. Grandma was in the hospital and I heard so many different versions of the same stories of what all happened before and during visiting Washington. Having someone we all cared about in the hospital was so revealing of how each person puts their own effort and love into the situation.
I wish in all humanity this ability to listen and get to know oneanother. I was extremely open hearted this past week and I did not loose a thing! I came out fully intact and in fact added to.
I could never see myself living in the suburbs and hanging up the Christmas lights, but I thoroughly enjoyed living in this parallel universe for a few days. Plus I even found great friendship with people in such different lifestyles than mine!
The point is we all enjoy sharing and pursuing happiness together.
