It's hard to imagine so many brilliant people building these companies without a vision for how this eventually becomes profitable.
Imagine if @mantequilla-soft, or @threespeak for that matter, ended up buying a serious AI server. Pair it with solar power, maybe a Starlink connection, and suddenly owning your own intelligence starts looking a lot more attractive than paying eighty thousand dollars a year in API tokens to one of the big players.
