Once upon a time, when I used to have a regular and uninterrupted TV cable subscription in my home. A TV service plan in which I had hundreds of different channels to zap around and finally stop to choose from where to devote a great part of my daily attention to get some great entertainment and a fully necessary laugh & a healthy well deserved rest.
However, curiously, I found out that my preference always went to only spend most of that leisure time watching exclusively those great & funny TV comedy shows and mostly those half hour "multi-camera" sitcoms usually performed within an outstanding live stage experience.
WHERE THE ACTORS AND WRITERS FED OFF THE ENERGY OF THE LIVE AUDIENCE WITH THEIR COLLECTIVE CONTAGIOUS UPROARIOUS LAUGHTER.

From the tip of my memory. In a random fashion of preference. Let's slam here a few of those TV comedy shows and half hour sitcoms I always liked the most:

The last, as one of the most recent shows I've seen lately, only occasionally, among many others I don't recall right now. 🤔
Hence, when watching a comedy, my only criteria is that it make me laugh. So, usually when I hear that a show start with the words "...it's filmed before a live audience" I know I'm in for a good time. :)
¿If I am filming a pile of dung, should I use film? HD digital? 1 camera? 4 cameras? 20 cameras?

Yeah! it looks like on TV, I never had the patience as to endure a full length 'feature film' staying still in my seat or bed unless it were an exceptionally interesting and visionary premonitory fiction movie like the sort of The Matrix, Strange Days, Brainstorm, Altered States, Johnny Mnemonic and many, many others of that style I can't remember in this moment.
Besides relaxing comedy shows and funny half hour sitcoms. The only odd audiovisual content on TV series with which I found myself pleasurably still and joyously immersed for a full hour consuming these in an even more avid fashion than those which always made me laugh.
You can bet all of them were obviously the ineffables and always well appreciated and highly pondered Science documentaries of the past.
Those great old documentaries which used to fill nonstop the entire 24hrs of each & everyday awesome TV programming in such remarkable Science channels like Discovery Networks, National Geographics, History Channel, A&E Television Networks, BBC Knowledge, TLC (The Learning Channel), The Science Channel, Time Life Multimedia, PBS, Sci Fi Channel, Infinito, WoBi TV, etc., etc. and so on.
All of them offering the incredible series of the prestigious producing houses like: NOVA, Horizon, Equinox, Alan Landsburg In Search of..., Jacob Bronowski The Ascent of Man, James Burke Connections1 (1978), Connections2 (1994), Connections3 (1997), The Day the Universe Changed (1985) & ReConnections (2004), PBS Carl Sagan COSMOS, The Nature of Things with David Suzuki. Ha, C'mon, even E! True Hollywood Story. ;D
Sheesh!! where the heck all those unforgettably striking and impactful Science & Tech documentaries went? Nowadays looks like all those kinda traditional scientific channels are now only full of freaken Reality Shows.
But well, enough of this creepy nostalgic tirade. This article has already been too long and probably nobody is gonna READ it anyway. But what I really wanted to tell you today. Is the fact that now I have long time, many years indeed, that I'm not watching TV anymore.
In first place, due to my lack of a true home. My own home. Secondly, because I don't have a TV set nowadays either. And third, because this is probably the reason as why I'm now daily trying to tease you every freakin day with my mighty annoying babbling posts that no one understand on the steem blockchain. Well yeah, also as my unique way of survival. };)
