Day 234. Life is such a fragile thing. It's surreal when death takes someone; especially for preventable reasons. The machinations of the state and it's "justice" system that criminalizes drug use has taken a life that had, for a time, added a touch of sweetness to my life.
The thing about drugs and drug addicts is that many of the things we do are completely irrational. Trying to end drug use by punishing users and dealers creates markets where safety is out the window.
And here we are. Another life lost. And it fills me with anger.
I guess I could take a moment to express my frustration with my fluctuating weight. 295 this morning. Or I could bitch about the fact that work is so busy I can't make it to jujitsu.
But really who fucking cares? It's hard to have strong feelings about such trivial things as my mass to gravity ratio or my inability to work out when the spector of mortality lingers in my brain.
Today's weight: 295
