Hi Everyone! I am diving into the awesome communities on Peakd and I wanted to add my buddy Drizzt to the amazing collection of pets here 🤓 Drizzt was recused in March from the mountains of Tennessee where he lived with a pack of about 5 other pooches. Luckily these young pups were not violent offenders and we able to be adopted out around the country. His first day with us he was quite shy and mostly stayed in his crate (door was open, he just felt safe in there I guess) but in the last few months he has really come out of his shell. He is 2 years old and getting his first real taste of the human world, for example, he refused to use the stairs in our house during his first week with us and bit into a unopened soda can surprising all of us 😯😜😂 Since he has spent so much of his life outside he really, really wants to hike multiple times a day, which has lead to my wife and I shedding more pounds than he sheds winter fur. We are teaching him how to fetch and play with various toys to help with our energy levels as well 🙃 I will be sharing photos of him and our awesome travels locally in Maryland.
Also if anyone knows where his name Drizzt comes from...I will tip the first correct comment below!

-Squirrel senses tingling.....! Luckily he rarely chases squirrels, but he does go crazy over deer 😜
