•• Plot : Seo Dal-mi is a young woman whose dream is to become a CEO after suffering humiliations and setbacks as a contract worker. While a child, she was separated from her mother and sister, who moved to the United States with her mother's new husband. Dal-mi's father died due to an accident not long after, and she was raised by her grandmother. he does not use his real name, borrowing the name Nam Do-san instead.Nam Do-san is the founder of Samsan Tech with his two best friends. The company is on the brink of losing their parents' investment as nobody is interested in their technology.
Dal-mi and Do-san meet each other for the first time at a competition which was sponsored by Sandbox and they decide to become business partners. Dal-mi is unaware that Do-san is not the person behind the letters. Han ji pyeong helps Seo dalmi to win the competition with Nam do-san And eventually fells for her too. After a while Seo Dal-mi gets to know that Han ji pyeong is the one who wrote those letters and comforted her for a long time.
••Personal opinion : when I first started watching this series, I thought that Han ji pyeong is the main male lead . But afterwards as the story proceeds the table turned. The most heart touching relationship here is halmoni and Han ji pyeong. Because of Halmoni, he got a family.Han ji pyeong made a outstanding mark throughout the series.He doesn't have much screen time, but he made me laugh, cry and every emotion you feel, butterfly in the stomach.
And to wrap this up, I must say that Start-Up is something YOU should watch because it teaches us lessons, not just for life but also in the professional field.. I like how this series inspires its viewers to NOT BE AFRAID ON TAKING RISKS, TO DREAM, AIM HIGH and then PUT THOSE GOALS INTO ACTION Also, I like how they showcased how a family will ALWAYS BE A FAMILY no matter what. But it does not limit family by blood, you can also find family in friends.
I’m happy and satisfied how this series was not just entertaining but I have kept numerous lessons from this series that I can apply to my life. BUT OVERALL REALLY WELL WRITTEN AND DIRECTED SHOW, REALLY DESERVED THE RECOGNITION.
