Last Friday on 19th of March Polybius Bank attended the BlockchainUA conference in Kyiv. The conference attracted quite a lot of people. It was almost unique how many experts attended the place - something you don't usually see even in the middle of Europe.
The main 2 topics present in full at the conference were the blockchain technologies and the regulations that are now proposed or imposed on everything that seems insecure. The minds of people seemed bothered with some more ordinary yet important things.
For example - opening a bank account in the EU. Many were struggling with inability to do so as EU banks denied their services to Ukrainian entrepreneurs. Meanwhile, some were proposing that it is already possible or will be possible in the nearest future.
Others were struggling with getting loans for their projects in Ukraine. While in some cases it may be understandable from banks' perspective, we found out that in reality it was more than just a rare case but a common trend.
But what really made this conference be different many other is the high expertise of the participants. Almost everyone there had a deep understanding of all the processes involved in their businesses, the law and the struggles of the field.
Finally we are planning to attend The Blockchain Summit in London on the 28th of March (http://www.marketforce.eu.com/…/financial…/blockchain-summit) and we will be happy to see and meet you there.
