I disagree, many people could opt out. They don't want to. Yes, you need some money for that, more in the west, less everywhere else. (Just count how many people you know who could afford to buy land, build a house - if not in their place, country, somewhere else for cheap and build self-sufficient living. So, I think you are wrong about it.) People just prefer to wait until the system - which they believe in - will steal everything from them one way or another. They even like it, support it. :) :) :)

I can't disagree: Most people are just stupid. But I know not stupid ones, whose don't want to opt out, even if they exactly know how big time the game's rigged. They are fine with it, until it's not reaching them. That's where they are wrong. Just matter of time and it will.

Another question how hard to opt out, even if you have the financial part for that. Those who want to opt out, usually don't have, as the system built for modern slave-keeping, so they can't let that happen, especially not in masses... and money is one of the best weapon ever.
