Situated near Julian Alps in Slovenia, it represents no.1 attraction in Slovenia.

If you don't love bunch of tourists with cameras, I recommend to pass it. But if you don't have problems with it, then go for it.

Through years (because of tourists) it became a bit expensive for locals. But we still love to go on a walk there. And we bring our own snacks with us.

What is great about the lake is that you can walk around it. Its length is just around 5 km, so it makes a great hour trip.

I hope I motivated someone to visit our pearl.
