In the last days this news kept coming around. I have not taken it seriously. But when I have seen the official Optimism announcement in a form of a white cat with red OP balls, it was time to research deeper.

How to be eligible

I am glad you asked. Defi airdrops twitter has some tips. But my thought is way simpler - to just use Optimism when staking some coins. In particular I find staking SNX extra fruitful as it brings weekly rewards with the minimum gas spent. As you may know the L2 is very friendly as it takes similar gas in terms of cents as BNB chain.

But still with this modern airdrops you never know, sometimes they limit it with some amount (only for the chosen one investing at least 2 ETH) or first date when using it. Let's hope this time not.
