The Smallest "Circulating" Gold Coin will be the 1/5 ounce $20 Gold Coin, that will have the Spending Power of 2,000 of today's Fiat USD's... I doubt that many people will be carrying around Gold Coins in their Pockets... We will need Common Coinage, Paper Coinage and Electronic Coinage, for our everyday spending...
