Flags

I am planning to begin downvoting soon, but I'm still tweaking my scripts some before that starts so for now I'm going to simply report on these posts. I have some interesting ideas around flags that I'm excited to share but I want to finalize these details and dedicate an entire post to that topic.

Going forward, I will still prepare a report like this along with my flags.

Targeting who?

Generally, the comments I'm identifying are not unique, do not speak directly to the topic in the post, and frankly offer no value so I have no issues asking the community to remove those rewards. These comments are not worthy of rewards.

As I mentioned in my intro post, I've been collecting data for a few days now before I began posting. I have a list of authors who were commenting and meeting the criteria of my algorithm over the past few days, but I haven't seen them today and there is no reply in the blockchain from me.

I battled with this, but only briefly, and I've decided to simply include these accounts in my analysis and if my algorithm picks up any comments they are fair game. The secondary point here is that these accounts are in my list. Period. Going forward, I'll continue reviewing their comments and reporting on any posts meeting my criteria.

This is to say, if you've seen my reply, I will be watching your every comment. Forever.

Sorry, I only sort of mean to be that ominous, but for real, I will basically do everything possible to ensure you never receive a single penny of payout on a "nice post" comment or anything in my realm of consideration.

Removable at day 6

The rewards I'm reporting today lock in the next 12 to 24 hours, with payout 12 hours after that. I plan to continue with this format so anytime you see these posts you will have at least 12 hours and no more than 24 hours to downvote to reduce or remove rewards before payout.

Two cents worth

Some people don't realize that there is a function in the blockchain called is_comment_payout_dust that basically excludes payouts of less than $0.02 in rewards. These comments do get a lot of dust votes, but none of them matter, so I exclude any comments with a lower pending payout.

And here is the first edition of...
