My first post written on my notebook!
Typing without my curved keyboard takes a bit more getting used to than I thought, but I'll manage.
This morning, first thing I had to do was figure out how to turn off a specific update causing trouble in Windows 10. I had to do this some time ago aswell, but apparently, on the Home edition, it takes a special wizard that you need to download. I managed and fixed it so this troublesome update is now hidden. Now though, it says all updates are done, but I'm not sure yet. I'll do a reboot first, before I trust it completely.
Anyway, I'm just using a txt file and I'll use Dropbox to move this over to my pc once things heat up in here. I can just post from there.
The woodstove is nice and warm and I already went out to gather more wood. Oh my gosh it's so cold out already!
I'm just watching this home buying show. People sometimes really amaze me, being very picky. Like wanting a seperate guest bathroom. It must be a cultural difference, because most houses in the Netherlands only have one bathroom, which seems so normal to me. A seperate toilet, yes, but a whole seperate bathroom? Oh no, only for really richy riches maybe.
Also, many seem to want a washer/dryer combo, whereas I am just so used to hanging my laundry to dry. I would find a dryer such a waste of electricity.
Oh, and then the beach access! "Oh my gosh, I really want a view of the ocean!", yeah, definitely pay loads more for a view you enjoy for a couple of weeks, after which it gets boring.
Oh well, I'm more of a 'rugged nature' person anyway. Give me forests, mountains and streams over beaches any day. I definitely understand wanting a pool though... Oh to be richy rich!
So! Yesterday evening, we went to my boyfriend's mum and her boyfriend. His NAS was having trouble. The back-up wasn't working correctly, so my boyfriend had to troubleshoot. Apparently, it's still not working well and my boyfriend would rather have them move to the cloud.
We talked a bit about bitcoin and trading there! Finally a conversation I could join in on, so that was fun! I'm no good at smalltalk, so I'm usually pretty quiet, but yeah, now I could proudly say I had crypto aswell and I didn't have to spend any of my own money for my growing pool of cryptos!
Today, my boyfriend's dad is coming over for dinner. I'll have to vacuum the house today, because the two days after, my mum will be here. That's gonna be fun!
