Hooray for the first harvest! Yes, usually the first means many more to come if your plants stay healthy! We often have the first one or two on each plant shrivel up before they mature, but then the ones after hit their stride and grow strong.
Zucchini is often abundant here, as well, so I'll put it in everything from soups, stir fries, grilling as is, burrito bowls or fajitas, shredded into zucchini bread or my oatmeal. I haven't tried it yet, but someone told me she loves using zucchini in her smoothies because they add a nice texture but don't change the flavor too much.
