Sometimes I ask myself how it is possible to see the person you live with so little? This year hasn't been easy on us, and between business travel and all the responsibilities we didn't see each other

I haven't been active for a few weeks as I've been attending a course in Sicily and having the best time ever. It was hard to say goodbye, but now I'm at home again, so I'm back in the garden, trying to

I thought I knew Košice very well as my brother lives there and I've been there countless times. It turns out there are still many places that I haven't visited yet or haven't even heard about. A couple

We returned from our holidays two days ago and couldn't wait to go to the garden. We've heard about devastating storms in Switzerland during the week, and we were certain that our region was affected too

I'd love to have posted yesterday like I usually do, but I had a small procedure done on my hand and had to take a rest for a few days. I can't work for a couple of weeks which works perfectly as we're

This year, we have decided to visit our family in Slovakia more often, but for not as many days as usually. Normally, we would go for 2-3 weeks and this time we only went for 10 days with a promise that

Our garden has been suffering from the drought tremendously. We haven't had any rain in at least a month and temperatures are constantly between 32 and 37 degrees Celsius. I'm conscious about environment

When I was in Palermo, I booked the hotel right in the heart of the city. It was important to me to be able to walk around at night without feeling anxious, so I chose the busiest street in the entire

Last night, we came back home from our 10 days holidays. It was nothing exciting, just a family visit, so we're more tired than we were before we left. We try to spend as much time with the family as possible,

I go to the garden every day, sometimes even twice a day (if I'm able to wake up at 6AM), so I don't really see the progress and use my photos to compare the growth every week. Last week, I was gone for

As you can see, today's post is not a summer one 😊 I have visited the Einstein's museum in Bern a few months ago and as life happened I haven't managed to share it with you here before. Bern is one of

The season is coming to the point when we can't keep up with our produce. It is physically impossible for the two of us to eat everything that our garden produces, and I think that this is the time our

After many weeks of planning, research, learning, and hard work, I am happy to show you the progress that we made in our garden at home. For those who don't know, we have two gardens - one is an allotment

Last week, we had one full day of rain which was amazing as we didn't have to water the garden for two days. Honestly, I didn't even know what to do with so much time - just kidding! It cooled down a bit

The best part of my Palermo trip was the visit of Palazzo Drago Ajroldi di Santacolomba. I walked by the palace a few times barely noticing it. It doesn't look like any palaces that I have visited before

Yet another week has passed and we're successfully starting cucumber and zucchini season! I've been trying to figure out which part of the gardening season is my favourite, and I can't really decide. Each

I wonder if you ever get fed up with my church posts, but bear with me as this one is really worth it. I have said several times that I enjoy visiting churches. It is not only for their architecture, but

Many people like to post their garden update once a month, but I really think that there are more than enough updates to share every week. In a month, my garden will look completely different, and I like

Last Saturday, we went to Drunense Duinnen in The Netherlands for a walk with our family. It's a place where my husband spent his childhood with his father and his not so little brother now. It's a national

I often didn't feel satisfied at work. I had a great position in a multinational company, but it felt like all I was doing was writing emails and spending time in calls. At the end of the day I didn't
