It certainly is, franzpaulie@franzpaulie! I was really elite-ist for quite a while, as I was adamant that any Civic after a Mk6 was not a real Civic (especially if it had 5 doors!)

My mind was completely changed after we had the Type R FK8 Facelift on review last year. I've not been so blown away by a vehicle since the BMW i8.
