The Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross offers six trims, and 2WD and 4WD options, means this new mid-sized SUV from Mitsubishi has lots to offer.
The mid sized SUV is powered by a 1.5 Litre Turbocharged petrol engine that remarkably drives and performs like a 2 Litre, it's rather engaging, and feels relatively powerful when you coax it, the diesel engine has been dropped, The Eclipse Cross powertrain is coupled to a CVT, or you can grab the manual with the 2WD.
Now CVT's aren't the most engaging transmissions, however they are certainly improving and the thing that is suprising is this is quite good, the CVT usually is noisy and even under load, dithers, this is capable of putting power down efficiently and quite quickly if you know how to drive it.
The engines is 163bhp and produces 250 Nm of torque, and will get you from 0-62mph from between 9.7 and 10.4 seconds, dependent on model.
There's a lot to love with the Eclipse Cross SUV - it's well trimmed inside, and has been designed to give the rear passengers a better view out of the side, it's NCAP 5 and features adaptive cruise control, BSPM, and collision detection.
One of Annabelle's favourite features is the Heads Up Display (HUD), a great addition, especially for motorway driving, as it gives you essential information without you having to watch your cluster.
