The Mercedes Benz eSprinter is what you may call a rather interesting alternative to the diesel, now straight off the bat, this van will not suit everybody.
The Electric Sprinter van is has a 90kW electric motor which develops 114 bhp and 295nm of torque and offers just over 90 miles of range, it has economy, economy + and comfort driving modes and 4 levels of regenerative braking which are operated with paddles.
Now the eSprinter has a lower payload limit than the eVito and comes in one size and trim L2 H2 and Progressive, now this may seem strange, but it's not when you think how much bigger and heavier the Sprinter is.
This is the ideal van for a local delivery company, multidrop with bulk rather than weight and yes motorway driving is possible and in all honesty it drives great, well planted and reponsive.
