Hello there. We have experienced an unfortunate event.
Yesterday, around 11 am, the house began to shake, thunder rolled through the air, the dogs barked and it felt like we were living in a war zone. We knew it wasn’t going to be good as this was the largest roof avalanche that we have ever experienced. About 2 feet of snow roared straight down the roof and slammed into all three cars parked on the driveway (one was a friends). The direct impact of the concrete snow hitting the windshields, roofs and hoods of the cars caused quite a bit of damage. The windshields are all broken and cracked with glass everywhere, the hoods are bent in and parts of the roof were also damaged. We do not have insurance on our two cars, but our friend does. As stressful as all of this is, it is really just another speed bump in the road that we have to go over. It is just a setback, and we will overcome it. It makes me think that life can change in a matter of seconds and all you can do is just hold on and get through it the best you can, because it is all a test.
“With everything that has happened to you, you can either feel sorry for yourself, or treat what has happened as a gift. Everything is either an opportunity to grow or an obstacle to keep you from growing. You get to choose.” -Wayne Dyer
