Week of 04/22/19 to 04/28/19
One big sale is skewing this week's data but these big sales happen and it's great to see them! The number one sale on the list was a 6 figure sale on Sedo. That sale occurred on April 25th. The domain? Cooking.com. Which although is a great domain, it's an interesting example of how sometimes the plural or present tense of a word works better than the singular or simple verb! Think about it this way, if you were in the market for a name for a new cooking channel on television, would you rather have 'cooking' or 'cook'? While they're both good and could work for this example the present tense 'cooking' sounds a bit better. Another example is the domain and site, Cars.com. For a site that's all about helping you buy or sell a car it makes more sense to use cars.com than car.com. The important thing is to be able to detect when this is the case. I would say that most of the time it's better to have just the singular as opposed to the plural but be aware of the word's use in language and make sure you don't miss on a domain like this!

About the Names
Today's list contained 17 .com domains, 2 .de, and 1 .org.
There are quite a few good domains on today's list. I like cooking.com, goldenstate.com, zbo.com, uxv.com, and organicflowers.com most. The 4 letter .coms are good too as are a few others in the top 5 but these are my faves.
Well, that concludes the Top 20 Domain Name Sales for the last week.
