I don't know what to call it, maybe I should term it 'carefulness' because I'm very sure it's not stinginess. This sounds like paying for a ladies hair is a norm at where you are from , so not buying it sounds unusual over there...lol..

Well right here , it is norm for a lady to pay for her own hair all the time even if you are married to her, though you as a man can decided to pay for her hair if you want, but that is a different case..
