I know the tiles say that the flowers are in the darkness and it looks like they are made in the studio but in fact, all the photos are taken outside in the daylight on a cloudy day after the rain. That is because of the flash when the power of the flash is stronger than the actual daylight.
Photos are taken at F13, ISO 100, and flash power around 1/8. I used a diffuser and I kept the flash on the side of the flowers very close like a palm away.
Is all handheld, in the right hand I have the camera and in the left, I have the flash. As you know in macro photography it takes a few tries to get the subject in focus, but at least the subject is frozen because of the flash.
I shoot in raw format and I edit them in Lightroom and Photoshop
This one looks like a face with big black eyes 馃榿
When I took this one was actually raining so was just a fast shot
Some of the photos are cropped to get a better composition and a better zoom
I love when the plants have waterdrops on them 馃槉
and the last one
if you look closely into the waterdrop you can see the cloud and the silhouette of the tree, yet it came out so dark just like in a studio, really like that effect.
