Ancient Pandemic
A mix of sacred geometry, fantasy and Egyptian culture.
The fictive story behind the Illustration 馃榿 is this:
In 2019 an ancient Egyptian tomb was discovered. On one of the walls was this drawing with three people in balance with the universe. One of the main character seems to have a mask on his face, looks like an important person.
According to the writing on the walls, in ancient times there was a pandemic that almost wiped the entire Egypt population, but there was a healer (like a doctor in our days) called Kohvid that was able to produce an antidote for pandemic made from fresh plants found in a secret place in dessert. He had two daughters, twins, named Farida and Hathor.
People of Egypt considered them as touched by gods because they lifted the curse, the pandemic curse that is invisible and can kill you.
Rumors say that the healer and his daughters was buried with all kind precious objects from that time, including samples from that virus and the antidote.
Some people say that the ancient virus was released in our world that day, and the antidote didn't survive because it needs those fresh plants from the desert, but the virus didn't have a problem to survive. And they covered up, they even named Covid after that healer Kohvid 馃榿. But I guess we will never find the truth.
I hope you enjoyed the story 馃槉
