We live in a world of constant convenience.
Want a movie? Netflix and chill.
Don’t understand something? Google it.
Go somewhere? Uber it.
But convenience kills determination.
At the core, it kills WHY we do something.
When we start getting comfortable, we start deteriorating.
We start rejecting information, instead of absorbing it.
And when we stop absorbing and reject information, we kill any motivation whatsoever for us to progress.
Life itself becomes a convenience.
See, we could say “let’s build an app”
Or “let’s connect the dots”
But have we really made a new discovery, or have we made ourselves become lazier?
Where are the people who said - let’s make man fly?
Where’s the “put man on the moon”?
We believe most people like us are simply connecting the dots, we are not progressing.
This must be the greatest controversy of a bubble we live in.
There’s a discovery, yes, but at the cost of convenience and stagnation.
Ah, we don’t know.
