You don't need much to go swimming. Goggles. Swimsuit. You don't even need the watch. But hey - it doesn't count if you don't record it.
Swimming in Lake Sammamish in July is warm, pleasant, and if you get out early enough, quiet. If you leave it too late, it clutters up with powered craft. But early in the morning is brilliant. I'd swim, then watch the bald eagles take salmon. It's a nice place.
