This is the continuation of the July speed painting challenge I am taking part in, initiated by John Stone on Instagram. It consists in painting different elements of environments ; this week is about mountains.

Process

This time, I wanted to try a more graphical stuff. It is not the easier technique for me, as I used to paint in a more realistic style ; here, I add to find graphic solution to paint elements, simplify things.

I had a lot of difficulties making the herbs ; or at least to find a graphic result that I like.
I am not satisfied enough, but don't worry, this kind of challenge is useful to practice and try new things.

Also, I didn't create a color palette, I looked up the colors directly on the color wheel, but I think it is not the best method. I would have a more interesting palette if I think about it from the start, without fumbling around all the way.
