This week's challenge is about mountains.
I think I found a comfortable way to do them. Also, I tried to get into the habit of using the lasso tool, which is very more intuitive and suitable for painting this kind of thing digitally.

Process

First, I have broken down the image, complex in nuances, into basic colours.

Then I drew the mountains. It was very funny to do.

Then, I painted the rocks in front of the mountains. And it was much more difficult.
Don't know why, I had a hard time finding a good balance, good values to put on them.

Finally I add the herbs. It was also difficult to find a good texture, which would make realistic but not too much, because the whole painting is more graphical than realistic and detailed.

The final result, with some other details.
