Introduction

Hi everyone! @LivingUKTaiwan here with today's edition of the #TravelDigest. Since we rebranded ourselves as Pinmapple on Hive, we've had to build up our operations from scratch. It's hasn't been an easy journey, but we felt it was the right thing to do as we are 100% behind the decentralised Hive. Luckily, we received some staunch support to start us off so we can continue support the travel community. Today, we would like to do a big shout out to our delegators who have delegated a total of 18,614 HP to us.

Thank you from the Pinmapple team!!!
If you love what Mr Pinmapple is doing to support Hive and the travel community, please consider delegating to us so we can provide even more supprt to the content creators. Thanks.

🥇 Kilve Beach: East Quantoxhead, Somerset by riverflows@riverflows

It's so quiet around Kilve Beach, but I can imagine what it's like in 'normal' times. We meet quite a few old folk who we chat to about plants and fossils. They've come from further afield too, unafraid of the virus or of laws. Or perhaps they are more circumspect. Why would you live the last of your years in fear? Or maybe they just don't read Facebook, with all the people screaming that we should remain indoors. Being outdoors on a wild stretch of coast and cold windswept field never gave anyone a virus. We are all good. The sea air is bracing and invigorating, and we sleep well that night.

🥈 Biggest Artificial Lake by lifeskills-tv@lifeskills-tv

Attabad Lake is situated in Hunza, Gilgit Baltistan. Attabad Lake was created in 2010 as a result of a massive landslide at Attabad Village. The landslide blocked the flow of the Hunza River for five months. The landslide also destroyed over 19 kilometres of the Karakoram Highway road section. The lake reached 21 kilometres long and over 100 metres in depth. Many villages submerged and thousands of people were affected. You can see this disaster's impact during visit to Attabad as road submerged in lake is still visible.

🥉 Hiking to peak Kôprovský štít 2367 meters above sea level by photoparadise@photoparadise

After about an hour of relaxation, I pack my things and I start to descend. The clouds are starting to get bigger and it looks like it's going to rain. I don't mind the rain, but a storm in the mountains is not pleasant.I descend to Hincovo lake when the first raindrops fall to the ground. It's raining hard, so I'm wearing a raincoat. What I didn't want became a reality. There is thunder in the Tatras and it is shining everywhere. I hurry down as fast as I can, but to my surprise, I meet people on the way who go up despite the storm. Fortunately, as fast as the storm in the Tatras comes, so quickly.
