Allowing some time to explore the Norman countryside is all about discovering the romantic ruins of an ancient abbey in the morning and a village with timber-framed houses in the afternoon. It is about medieval fortresses overlooking the River Seine and gracious Baroque castles lost in the country as much as it is about wandering on a pebble beach surrounded by limestone cliffs.

We wanted to spend the night by the sea and we went to the very shore. We drove into a town called Kamena Vourla. The town is very small and pretty. It turned out to be a resort town. A long main street along the sea with hotels, restaurants and cafes. You can stroll along this street and breathe in the fresh sea air.Kamena Vourla is one of the most popular and crowded resorts in the region. The possession of the Blue Flag makes this resort especially in demand. In addition, the presence of healing hot springs, excellent infrastructure, beautiful views.

🥉 Cheomseongdae - Ancient Silla Astronomical Observatory in Korea by @abitcoinskeptic

Early this year, I travelled the 250km or so to visit Gyeongju. I only spent 2.5 days in Gyeongju this time, which wasn't long enough to see everything, but plenty of time to get a good look. This was actually my 3rd time visiting the area. Located in Gyeongju, Cheomseongdae is an ancient astronomical observatory that still stands to this day. It is a national treasure and one of the most famous monuments in Korea.
