Hi everyone it's @lizanomadsoul here introducing the Monday edition of the #TravelDigest.
Another day of great places and stories around the globe to read about! This time we have great stories from Venezuela, Spain, Guatemala, The US, India, and Italy - So a little bit of everything! - Enjoy ;)
On a clear day Hobbitenango is picture perfect. It's a short ride (without traffic) from the historic capital of Guatemala, Antigua. We loved this area so much we came here twice, once on an ATV tour and again to spend a few hours at Hobbitenango, a tourist trap with an amazing view.

Our second day in Death Valley started very early because we wanted to catch the sunset. Getting up at 5am is no fun, but this was for a good reason. We chose Zabriskie point. Even though it's not the most spectacular, it's the most popular. A big advantage is that it was only 10 minutes from the hotel. We arrived before it really started, but the views were already great.

We had booked an auto for the whole day but once we reached at the Kati Ghati Gate, we decided to walk on foot and bade goodbye to our auto guy.
The name of the landmark was 'kati pahadi' which loosely translates into 'a broken mountain.' And it was a different world altogether on the other side. The populace diminishing, roads merging into forests and disappearing all of a sudden.
