Hello everyone! This is @ybanezkim26 and I'll be presenting today's edition of #TravelDigest. In our featured posts, we have a lake in Reykjavik, Iceland, a coast in California, USA, and the city of Hamburg, Germany. Enjoy!
Just as quickly as the snowstorm had arrived, it disappeared again while we took advantage of the unpleasant weather to take a break for a meal. This allowed us to continue our walk through the streets of Reykjavik refreshed and we could even see the last sunrays of the day breaking through the clouds at the horizon. Lake Tjörnin was to be our next destination.

This is not a hike, but just a short walk, only 0.6 miles of the most stunning views of the ocean and the cliffs. You will also see a lot of the local wildlife, and this time of the year, lots of flowers. It's starting to feel like spring. You can probably do the entire walk in 15 minutes, but you will definitely spend a lot more time there enjoying the views. In the map above you can see the trail, and the entire trail fits in that map, you can see it's not that long.

Anyone who knew Hamburg before the turn of the millennium will certainly remember the old Speicherstadt. Brick buildings and abandoned warehouses could be marveled at back then. The brick buildings are still there, but the buildings are now also being used after renovation. In the 15th century, this was also the place of execution where the pirate Klaus Störtebecker was executed.
