Hello everyone! This is @ybanezkim26 and I'll be presenting today's edition of #TravelDigest. In our featured posts, a commune in Italy, the city of Istanbul, Turkey, and a forest in France. Enjoy!
The Chianti region, home of the famous Tuscan red wine Chianti is located in the centre of the Tuscany region and is surrounded by main "art" cities like Florence, Sienna and Arezzo in Chianti. The name 禄Chianti芦 is currently used to identify several different areas of the territory depending on the point of view (if looking purely geographically, historically, or following the regulation of the wine's designation). Following this last one, there are specific municipalities only where the produced wines can be named "Chianti Classico" and are certified with the famous Black Rooster symbol.
Our first stop was the mosque of Suleymaniye the Great, which was only around 15mins walk from our hotel. We got there fairly early. I have to say it was really impressive, inside and out with beautiful gardens and also to tomb of Suleymaniye as well. Such a beautiful place. It dates from the 1550s.
The forest of R茅no-Valdieu not far from our home in the Perche region of France seems to be one of those ecosystems preserved from the productivist will of the human race, and it's in a veritable haven of peace that I invite you to follow me today.
