@gali7This historic place can be reached by train (about 40 minutes and a price of 2 euros) or by bus (which is slightly more expensive - 8 euros). We preferred to catch the direct train to Trakai. As soon as we got off the train, we had an amazing view - a huge frozen lake, like in the movies. At the train station there are information signs which oriented us where to go. A trail that circled the entire lake and offered amazing views led us to a bridge that we had to cross over the lake to get to the island castle of Trakai.

@betterthanhomeThis time we planned our trip really badly and had no real idea what to do in Mossel Bay. Luckily we always get awesome tips from friends and colleagues. On the second day we got a good tip about a Game Reserve just outside of Mossel Bay. A Game Reserves is a government or private sanctuary designed to protect wildlife species. Most of them here in South Africa are private and you can go on Game Drives that are basically Safaris.

@vaipraondeThe visit to the Christ is a very touristy tour, several friends I have tell me that they have never done it. I think that when you've lived in the city since you were little, visiting some places always end up being postponed, because it's right there and you can visit anytime.
