I always wondered what people actually need in order to be happy and leave behind the stress? Because lately, from what I noticed there are lots of people who opt in to spend some days in the mountain resorts out there, but without having a proper plan about it. Most likely, just spend the free time doing nothing. Happily or not, I and my family were never like that. We always spend as little time as possible at the hotel meaning only while we are eating and sleeping, the rest of the time being used to explore the surroundings as much as we can, even if it means hiking the mountains 12 hours a day! However, the mountain resorts from Romania are full of things and activities to enjoy, from the local sightseeing attractions to those wilder ones from the heart of the mountains.

🥈 A Beautiful Gem Of A Japanese Garden, Kanazwa, Japan by @maxinpower

After strolling a bit through the castle complex of the former Kanazawa-jo fortress last time, today we are heading to the directly adjacent park Kenroku-en 兼六園 to get a taste of Japanese garden atmosphere. Japanese gardens are often little paradises, usually private and rather hidden, and thus not accessible to everyone. But fortunately, there are also public grounds, and among them, truly enchanting gardens and parks. Such as Kenroku-en, one of Japan's Three Famous Gardens (日本三名園, Nihon san meien).

🥉 My Unforgettable Trip to Bario Highlands, The Eden Of Borneo, Bario, Malaysia by @positivesteem

The famed Bario Highland is located in the north-eastern corner of Sarawak at an elevation of around 3,500 feet above sea level. It is occupied by the Kelabit tribe, one of Sarawak's minority "Orang Ulu" tribes. In the Malay language, "Orang Ulu" means people from the interior as most of the "Orang Ulu" tribes are found in Sarawak's interior and remote regions. The name Bario in the Kelabit language means wind. As expected, the place is very windy and due to its spectacular landscape, the Bario Highlands is also known as the Eden of Borneo.
