"Ostend is known for its fine-sand beaches and sea-side esplanade. Especially during July and August the Ostend beaches are visited by many day-trippers. Near the beach in Raversijde a well-preserved section of the fortified Atlantic Wall is now an open-air museum, but guess what: closed due to COVID. The beaches we found pretty much dead as well for this time of year. Same reason."

"The crocodile had swum over for some food and was right next to me, if I was stupid I could have reached out and touched it. I recall its eye looking at me and was struck by what looked like thought. Is that fellow tasty and how can I get to him, is what I figured he was thinking. Yeah I'm tasty bro, but you're not getting the chance to find out"

🥉 Climbing Mount Sanjar or blitz-voyage to Boysun, Surkhandarya, Uzbekistan by @damm-steemit

"We went out and climbed up the slope. For a while, I held on and walked on a par with everyone, and then I began to lag behind. Thanks to the team - they were patiently waiting for me.We climbed higher and higher. By the way, Sanjar has such an unpleasant feature - until you reach him, you need to overcome several smaller peaks."
