"Kinney Lake is a lake that shouldn't be but nature decided to put one there anyway. The Robson river flows carrying the melting glacier water but a sandbar eventually formed causing a natural dam intercepting the river and substantially slowed the flow causing the water to pool up and form a lake otherwise the Robson river would probably be mighty fierce!"
