Last day in Sardinia and I decide to leave the seaside in order to spend time exploring the mountains. Besides, I have a heaven to swim in front of my feet on a daily basis back home. Browsing for info about such routes internet provides more than enough and I decide to visit a river with a few swimming spots that on my laptop looked promising enough so I had to go and see. Destination: Pitrisconi!

The entry point to the trail is indicated on the map on the site, but on the ground (on the road) it is not indicated in any way. Maybe it was conceived so that random people would not find it by chance? Not far from the entrance to the trail there is such a tunnel, which itself is worth a stop, it is interesting to walk inside.

🥉 The last days of an Italian trip by @martibis

After arriving early in the morning, super tired from barely having slept after spending the entire night walking through Rome, I ended up falling asleep on this beach, to wake up with a horrible sunburn (which rarely ever happens to me). Still I wouldn't have changed that night as it's one of my best memories of Rome! I remember waking up in the baking sun, jumping in the sea, to fall back asleep again, haha!
