Capturing selfie shadows? Ah! It was a radiant afternoon and I never thought I would capture myself once more in the ground with beautiful scenery not to mention the Communal Ranch at Impasugong, Bukidnon, Philippines was like a beautiful canvas.
The lush greenery, the spectacular clouds, the contour of the mountains, and the selfie shadows made my day. Perhaps it was a memorable moment as I finally reached my favorite destination in the province for the very first time with the New Zealand vibe while making my shadow a subject for taking photographs.
When I was about to go home, I was so happy since it was a great time to capture the sunset. I so love the light and it made me pause for a while as I watched the vibrant scenery.
So instead of going to the car, I explored the ranch and captured the picturesque views. Little did I know that as I approached forward, my own shadow was in front of me. I had several candid poses. And I was so surprised by the opportunity to capture the serene atmosphere of the ranch.
I had a great time taking my selfie shadows at my favorite view. It was so timely that the shadow was surrounded by the dramatic clouds, the relaxing pond, and the evergreen surroundings along with the amazing view of the mountain vistas.
What a perfect moment to hunt my own shadow at the ranch. My own shadow became a subject and the spontaneous poses that I struck had created a collection of unique shots in a mesmerizing atmosphere.
