When I had a long trip going home from Surigao del Norte, Philippines, traveling to Bukidnon, we had many stopovers. We were riding in a private car so it was easier to stop for a while may it be to capture the view or to have a good time eating our meals at any stopover we wanted.
Riding back home will take us more than six hours to reach home so we just had dinner at a food house where most of the buses and other vehicles together with the driver and passengers stop. One of the stopovers that we passed by and went through was in Magsaysay. It was nighttime when we reached there. Beside our vehicle is a stationary bus.
I was standing next to the stationary bus as I was letting the staff grill a barbeque for our dinner. And all of a sudden I noticed many shadows on the Bachelor Tours yellow bus going to Butuan City.
The bus had many passengers. It stopped for a while to let the driver and all the passengers have their dinner. Most of them had eaten at the food house where we will eat.
At first, I saw the shadows of the two men standing in front of it with the presence of the two kids. And then little by little, a lot were staying on the corner as they waited for the bus to move forward. So every minute, different shadows cast on the bus.
And then there came a group of men who were smoking and their shadows could also be seen on the yellow bus. Even after a moment, the shadows of the four people I had seen including the two men and the kids were still there. Perhaps I enjoyed the cool shadows of the passengers of the yellow bus.
