Last time when I was in the city, I passed by a salon offering a promo. It was one of my favorite salons so I never hesitated to avail myself of the offer. Perhaps I have saved a penny for the discount offered to me through the hairdresser coupon.
When I arrived, there were already many customers. But I was not worried since the salon guaranteed many hairdressers to accommodate each customer.
I entered the salon and I was accommodated by the three hairdressers. They were so friendly and as I was seated they all appreciated me and they said that they loved to style my hair with the best formula that they have.
Although there are many salons in my place, I always prefer the salons in the city especially this spot since there are many hairdressers who do work for my hair so the task could just be finished for a few hours. The result is of good quality and has saved time.
Whenever I feel so stressed about some things in life, another route that I usually take is going to a salon. But when I am busy, I just have to do the diy-thing or home-service. And yes, here I was last time with my golden blonde hair.
My Golden Blonde Hair
Honestly, I do not feel comfortable when my hair is so bright or so blonde. Before the formula was put into my hair, it was not as bright as this. So I told the hairdresser that I would love to tone down the color of my hair.
As soon as I was seated on the chair, they had already started the process from washing my hair to letting it dry, applying the formula, washing it again, and then blow drying.
Straightening and Changing Hair Color
While I was seated on the comfortable chair, I was truly so relaxed and I felt like releasing all my stresses away. I was even more glad when the three hairdressers were telling many interesting stories and they were all funny which made me laugh.
I once had wavy hair so now and then I a to the salon and do the straightening process. And since my hair was golden blonde, I decided to have a dark blonde color known as the Flaxen.
The hairdressers straightened my hair, applied another hair color to darken the tone, and then applied a Brazilian blow-out.
Pedicure and Foot spa
While the hairdressers were letting my hair dry, the nail artist asked them if it was fine that he would start to go on the pedicure process and foot spa. How relaxing it was when my dry skin were removed and when my nails were cut. I usually request to cut it short since I am not comfortable to have super long nails, that is only just enough to any foot wear I may use.
Having a foot spa once in a while is one of my favorite processes. I felt so relaxed while my foot was being scrubbed and even felt sleepy.
After the foot spa, I had my nails pedicured and colored red. I love how he do art to my nails and the quality of the polish they used was good too.
There were also gel polish and artificial nails but I do not want to try it since it darkens the nails as what I have seen from many of my friends who usually do this and let the nail artist put a gel art on their nails with the fake ones. Although they were really nice to look at, I still love to have my natural nails.
While my nails were pedicured, the hairdressers were busy blow-drying my hair. I have thick strands of hair and even chemically treated which is why it dries for a while.
Finally, after three hours, it was done. It was just so right to take my lunch. Compared to other salons, this salon works so quickly with the best quality since they had a lot of hairdressers who were doing the tasks. More workforce, hence less time and more customers were even accommodated.
After my hair was done, I took some selfies in the mirror while I was seated in the chair. I realized that it had been a while since I had been here in the city.
Sometimes, when I am bored with the color of my hair, I am just buying a Loreal product and I apply the formula on my hair or let my cousin, preciousbree color my hair. But this just happened when I had no time to go to the salon due to a very hectic schedule.
Perhaps I felt delighted to be in the salon as I pampered myself after many long months and enjoyed the moment as well. And it was a happy hair day from golden blonde which turned into a dark flaxen hair.
