The calming views, the evergreen atmosphere, the tall verdant pines, the vast farm fields, the beautiful mountain ridges, and the cool camping sites let me find inner peace and reconnect with nature as I had a day tour trekking.
Bukidnon has the finest artwork of nature located at Malaybalay, Bukidnon, Philippines, not to mention that Pine Ridge is the best place to find inner peace, spend time with rookie mountain climbers, and even go camping with family and friends.
I always wanted a place where I could have a mental break and a place where I could be surrounded by nature, disconnected, and quiet. And I must say that I have been to an amazing adventure camping retreat farm with stairways going to different peaks.
When we arrived here, the foggy atmosphere and the fresh air feels of the place and it felt so good to witness the picturesque landscape of nature. And yes, the place is so picture-perfect for taking photographs.
Bukidnon mountain moments... feels like I am living in a beautiful painting with this scenery.
The feeling of tranquility and serenity was one of my great experiences. It was a great sanctuary for nature lovers. I so love the serenity of the outdoors with the fresh mountain air while being surrounded by lush landscapes and verdant pines. And I had a moment of candid shot at the landmark.
There may be no sea of clouds when we have been there but that was a blessing. Instead, we were treated to a beautiful misty mountain landscape that refreshed my soul.
It was so timely when we arrived. The raindrops fell for a while yet it stopped quickly. When I noticed that raindrops were so tiny, still I strolled around and captured the Pine Ridge landmark along with the name of its peaks namely the AR’s peak, the CJ’s peak, and the Heaven’s summit.
I have heard about the place being popular for its camping activities, but I was not able to experience it since it was a side trip when I went to Malaybalay City. However, I had a great time as I enjoyed the amazing view of the place. And here are some quick shots as I captured the surrounding views. Here is a map of the spot with the camping rules.
What is good about this spot is the presence of an Honesty store with its lounge and tables downstairs and upstairs. I got the chance to buy some pinecones and cup noodles too. Here are some quick shots of the view from the above of the honesty store with the dining tables and chairs.
I stayed at the area for a while since it was still raining. I enjoyed sipping my cup noodles while waiting for the rain to stop. It was so refreshing to be surrounded by an evergreen atmosphere.
The cabin at the entrance of Pine Ridge was so perfect for staycation with family and friends. I love the design and it felt so relaxing seeing the rustic ambiance that was surrounded by so many pines.
Aside from the Honesty Store, there was also a special accommodation for tourist who does not want to stay at the campsites. How cool it is to have a staycation here for a while.
When the rain stopped, I started trekking going to the AR’s peak, CJ’s peak, and Heaven’s summit. I passed through the specially designed stairs since I was just wearing slippers. And my views are so relaxing as I ascended up.
I felt so relaxed hiking through the stairs although it took me more than an hour to reach the peak. I took a hike through the trails where each step brought me closer to the peak with the amazing view from above.
While trekking through the Pine Ridge, I have seen how wonderful the campsites were. There were sites for friends or the Barkadahan Site, there were sites for lovers and couples, and even for family campsites.
Here are some quick snapshots of the camping sites that I have passed by while trekking going to AR’s peak and CJ’s peak. How beautiful the quotes were and I believe it relaxes every soul trekking at Pine Ridge.
Every time I reach a peak, I always stop and have a candid pose although I am already panting and feel tired going up to the peak.
And yes, I reached the peaks of the Pine Ridge. It felt so good to be on top while seeing a wonderful view from above.
