Transparent lake....just awsome

Flathead Lake, a very transparent, crystal clear lake in Montana. Its a very large freshwater lake located in the northwestern corner of Montana. It is slightly larger in surface area than Lake Tahoe, but it is much smaller in volume.

Pristine water quality is held in high esteem here, and anything that might impact the watersheds (mining, other runoff, etc.) is generally quashed. but it's actually over 300 feet deep!
