You actually started it, I downvoted any post that I see promoted because I don't like ads and don't use hive for ads.

If not one used the promotion service, like it was for years left alone, then I wouldn't be spammed with posts I didn't want to see.

1. I do not want to see your content, EVER.
2. I would have followed you if I wanted to see your content.
3. You promoted your post.
4. The post was in my feed, I seen a reference to an advertisement and thats what I downvote.

Stop using promotions and you will never have this issue again.
