Pap and akara is always taken before going to church. I don't know why but maybe because it's cheap and easy to make.
--Compulsory attendance
As a young child you don't have a say on weather you should go to Church or not, so long it's Sunday you'll be dragged to church.

Sundays in Nigeria is another day to look your best, a day to prove to the church and your friends that you are also a fashionista.

Some people's intentions ain't pure in church, there are either in church to show off what there are wearing or to woo ladies/allure men
--Sunday Rice
Sunday is another day to eat rice. If you no cook rice then you're broke
